Dashboard

Introduction

After successfully signing in to the Taka system, users are taken directly to the Dashboard. This page serves as the main information center, presenting a summary of key data such as the number of users by role, the total key/function, the total access tokens, the log storage status, the total groups, memory usage, CPU usage, service (health check) monitoring, and transaction trends by cryptography type.

The following sections explain each part available on the Dashboard.

1. Sidebar Navigation Menu

The navigation menu is located on the left side of the screen and serves as the entry point to the various features in the system. The following describes each menu:

Through the Access Token menu, users can:

  • View the list of existing tokens.
  • Create a new token.
  • Edit token information as needed.
  • Delete a token.

C. Security Config

Used to configure data security. This menu provides three main options: Encryption, Tokenization, and Data Masking.

For each option, users can:

  • View the list of existing configurations.
  • Create a new configuration (encryption, tokenization, or data masking).
  • Edit a configuration as needed.
  • Test the encrypt/decrypt, tokenize/detokenize, and masking processes through the available simulator.
  • Delete a configuration.

D. User Management

Used to manage users and their access rights. This menu consists of three submenus:

  • Users: Manage the list of users who have access to the system — viewing, adding, and deleting users, assigning roles, updating information, and activating or deactivating accounts.
  • Groups: Organize users, access tokens, and security configurations into a single group, so that access rights and policies can be managed in a structured way.
  • Permission: Manage access rights to features such as Access Token, Security Config, and Group, including specific access settings such as create, read, and update.

E. Agent

Used to secure access to folders and files, so that only authorized users and applications can access them. This menu consists of two submenus:

  • Config: Manage agent configurations to control access to folders and files, especially encrypted files.
  • Policy: Manage the security and encryption rules applied to folders and files, so that only authorized parties can interact with the data.

F. Batch Encryption

Used to encrypt large amounts of data at once within a single file, so that users do not have to encrypt data one by one. This feature is particularly useful for securing large volumes of data.

Through the Batch Encryption menu, users can:

  • Setup Batch Encryption: Create a new batch encryption configuration.
  • Migrate Data: Encrypt files using the method defined in a previously created configuration.

G. Decrypt Client

Used to decrypt data that has previously been secured, so that authorized users can retrieve the data in its original form.

H. Audit Log

Contains a record of user and system activities, useful for monitoring, auditing, and security purposes.

I. System Setting

Used to configure the system comprehensively. This menu consists of several submenus:

  • Workspaces: Manage workspaces to support multitenant usage, so that data and configurations can be separated across organizations.
  • LDAP: Configure the system's integration with the LDAP directory service, so that user authentication and authorization can be managed centrally through the LDAP server.
  • License: Manage the application license, including viewing active license information (type, status, activation date, and validity period) and updating the license.
  • Backup & Restore: Manage the data backup and restore process, covering Manual Backup, Automatic Backup, Restore, and Backup Management, to ensure that data remains safe and recoverable.
  • TakaLock: A security feature that locks the application so that all access to data is temporarily suspended. To unlock it, users must enter the key provided during the initial configuration. Keep this key safe, because without the correct key the data cannot be accessed.
  • Notification: Configure system notifications, including the notification type, severity level, and delivery channel, as well as determining which events will trigger notifications.
  • Log Integration: Forward log data to external log management platforms such as Loki, Splunk, and Syslog, so that all activity records are centralized and easier to monitor.
  • Cluster: View and manage the cluster configuration to support high availability and system scalability.

2. Main Header

The top of the page displays a personalized welcome message for the signed-in user, along with a brief description of the system's purpose. On the right side are the workspace selector, the notification icon, and the user profile menu, which shows the account name and role.

3. Users by Role

Displays the distribution of users by role as a pie chart, consisting of Superadmin, Administrator, Stakeholder, and Member. This visualization provides a clear overview of the proportion of each role.

Description of user roles:

  • Superadmin: Has the highest, full access to the entire system.
  • Administrator: Manages all aspects and configurations of the system.
  • Stakeholder: Monitors and oversees the system as a whole.
  • Member: Uses certain features with limited access.

4. Total Key/Function

Displays the total number of data security functions available in the system, divided into three main categories:

  • Encryption is marked in red.
  • Tokenization is marked in blue.
  • Masking is marked in orange.

Each category represents a different type of data security function, and users can monitor their proportions through an informative donut chart.

5. Access Token

Displays the number of access tokens that have been created in the system.

6. Groups

Displays the number of groups that have been created in the system.

7. Log Storage Status

Displays the storage usage for log data compared to the total available capacity, along with a status indicator (such as Healthy). This information helps monitor storage efficiency and ensures that capacity remains available for future activity logging.

8. Memory Usage

Displays the system's memory usage in real time as a percentage, accompanied by a trend chart. This chart visualizes changes in memory usage over time, so that administrators can monitor usage patterns and detect usage spikes early.

9. CPU Usage

Displays the system's CPU (processor) usage as a percentage, accompanied by a real-time monitoring chart. This metric helps administrators identify potential performance bottlenecks and ensures the system remains responsive and stable when handling activities and transactions.

10. Health Check Monitoring Service

Displays the status of the system services that are running (uptime monitoring). Each row represents one service, such as Website, Gateway, Crypto, Tokenization, Masking, and Auth, along with its current status and operational duration. This information is updated in real time, so that users can quickly identify disruptions in service availability.
